I found 4 in mint shape, got em for 2 dollars.

I can't find any info on them. They have a date code of Feb in the year ending in 9. Don't know what decade. Speaker code shows a ceramic 8 inch woofer with a tweeter, crossover at 2500.

Any idea on value? They sound great. I want to mount them to a wall but this will add screw holes in the cabinets. If they are worth some money I don't want to butcher them.

They are real efficient, more so than my EV pa speakers.

Thanks for any info

Probably 1979, but I'm guessing. Do any components in the crossovers have date codes on them?

You'll probably find some answers by asking this question on a home audio discussion board like AudioKarma, etc.

I'm thinking 59 or 69. They are made in USA. According to Wiki Jensen quit making speakers from late 60's to early 90's and now they are made in Italy.

The backs are glued on so don't want to open them up, yet.

Just funny I can't find any info on the net about this model. Makes me think they might be thought of as junk?

Obviously rare, so might be worth something.

The front grill cover comes off. I pulled a driver and to my surprise, it is an AlNiCo magnet.

Guess I can't trust the sticker on the outside.

Which now dates it from 49 to 69? Not sure when Jensen started using ceramic, but I am led to believe around 1960.

Simple crossover but covered in electrical tape.

Have struck out on audio forums, at least by searching. I haven't signed up.
