I have been trying to find Strat Style hat knobs, numbered 1 to 10, etc, in chrome/plastic chrome but with a set screw. I have been striking out in my search, and am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

With the set screw, they're generally called UFO knobs. Numbered versions are not easy to find.

Once in a while, vendors offer chromed plastic Strat knobs.

Allparts sells a set, part number PK-0178-010. They go in and out of stock, but other vendors have 'em too, such as

here.

You could always replace the pots. I've done it for that reason. 35 minutes with a soldering iron and your quest would be over.

Another option that I've done in the past is to make your own custom knob.

Take the plastic knob you like that's designed for a split shaft, flip it bottom-up in a drill press, and use a Forstner bit to remove the guts. Don't drill all the way through.

Next, get an appropriate-diameter brass rod and salami slice a section about 5/8" long. Drill the center to 1/4", and epoxy it into the plastic knob.

When the epoxy is set up, flip the knob on its side and drill and tap for a 6-32 set screw.

It's really that easy.

I've used this approach to make knobs and switch tips out of stuff that's not designed to be a knob or switch tip.

These look cool. Not affiliated no idea about quality but they look nice and seem reasonably priced.

That's a really good price for solid cast aluminum. Guy probably has them made in China. You couldn't do it for $26 here in the US.
