I like them fine, but I admit I probably use my Dunlop Crybaby once every 5 years. Had it since 2004 I think. I do ad music and throwback stuff so when I want that vibe I'll use it. But it is an effect I think just a dab'll do ya.

I like ‘em. I rarely use one. When I payed out I didn’t have one. I probably would have used one a bit, back then.

Back in the late 70's and early 80's, when I was gigging full-time, I had a Morely Power Wah that was also a volume pedal. I used the volume pedal a lot. I only used the wah section of it on one song. When the Morley died I reverted to my old Dunlop volume pedal I had since the early 70's. I never replaced the wah with another one. I still have that volume pedal. I have changed the pot in it probably 10 times over the years but it just keeps on going.

No because I rarely use mine (Fulltone Clyde Standard).

I used my wah on a recording last year and was glad it was around to pull of the shelf.

Kinda agree with the OP

Mini Dunlop cry baby is on my board and I really never use it, lately been wondering why it's there.

Being a Tele-guy I work the knobs pretty hard and for the most part, can replicate Tremolo and a Wah.

I set the mini or Low and lately been playing with it unconventionally, looking for new ideas

I love to kick on a fuzz pedal and play one of my three wahs but it represents a small fraction of my overall playing time.

I've never been fond of them.

I'll use one on rare, rare occasions, but I don't do typical wah stuff with it, surprise surprise

I've got a George Dennis wah, but it's not been on my pedalboard for years. I did use it a few weeks ago at the local buskers night when I knew I was going to be asked to play "White Room". It did the job.

Tired of wah? Try a volume pedal. I've been having a blast with and old Ernie Ball one I found used. The swells are epic. Get your Knopfler on.

I don't use mine very often, but certain cover songs require one. I often just use the one on my ME-70, it's actually pretty good.

I think most people mis-use them. I personally think they work better for rhythm parts, rather than for lead work as most people use them. Throw it on a lead, and suddenly your notes are mush, unless you use it tastefully (see: Mike Keneally, Steve Vai).

I hadn't owned one in many years, but was "forced" to get one recently for a couple of tunes I was playing in a showcase. It's fun in small doses, but can quickly become annoying.

"mush"? Jimi Hendrix, hello?

Hendrix was the best at using a wah pedal, in my opinion, and that's the sound I go for when I use a wah.

Yes. I tired of them in 1968.

I received a Hotone mini wah/volume pedal for Christmas. It has its uses, albeit minimal.
Wah overuse is what turned me off of Henry Garza and Los Lonely Boys.

I cannot remember the last time I used a wah. Probably five years ago.

If someone's really tired of their wah pedals, you can always donate it to someone like me... :-P

(Now, seriously, I've always wanted to have one, but I've promised myself that I'll buy one when I get good enough with the guitar. And the time hasn't arrived yet, I'm afraid.)

I used one last night, the band is learning "Sweet Child of Mine".

I also used it on Rocky Mtn Way because I don't have a talk box.

Yes, we are right up there with all the current songs.
