Saturday? What happened to 27 July? Or am I missing something? (not unusual these days)...

willie-Friday is July 26th! That is my final food prep day and also a day that has been reserved for any jammers that would like to come by and taste the BBQ!

That Friday has also been set aside for setting up these Marshall Amps!

July 27th IS the day of the Jam!

We start around noon and play all day long!

The amps are being set up also for the purpose of comparing them. For those that may not know, these are 3 of the newest models that Marshall has offered.
All are 20W amps with a 5W setting. I personally have not seen a video that compares all 3 amps together. How similar do they sound, how different do they sound? How versatile are they? This will be explored on Friday, partly because it would be difficult to do during the jam. Ken has graciously offered up his time and space so that we can compare the amps.
Of course, you can hear them all on Saturday in a "jam" setting. ;)

Low power stuff on that Saturday I presume? I only have two amps now...I'll likely grab the little one and make it easy on myself. :) I won't have a lot of time on the 27th it appears, but since this is supposed to be the last year, I will be there barring unforeseen difficulties. :) Too far to come on Friday.

No way my friend...just needed a clarification, no harm, no foul. :)

Let me know what you want to do about that Allen bass amp...might take a while to get it up and running unless you tested it and it seems okay.

Low powered stuff on Saturday!? At least 3 of us will have the 5W option....from past experience, not sure that’s gonna work! ;)

I can either tote my little Fender Super Champ XD, or my repurchased (that's right, I bought it back from the friend I sold it to) Roland Blues Cube Artist. :-) Likely just do the XD...15 watts will be overkill... :)

willie-I'm sure what ever you bring will sound Great! : )

Let me know if 28/29 June works good for you to bring it out.
I've got a fiend visiting on June 30th thru July 3rd.

Even 5 watts has proved to be quite loud with these Marshalls but very musical imho!

I'm sure the 28th or 29th would be okay...just let me know which day or time. Hoping we don't have to do output tranny replacement...

I don't think volume will be an issue for anyone.

Is this happening in the Atlanta Ga Area? Is their any other information like venue, contact numbers etc.

Looks to be about 300 miles, I might need to get a room. The pre jam party would be cool to meet y’all before the jam, if nothing gets in the way of me coming up.

Yeah, it’ll be cool putting faces on you guys I’ve been BSing with over the last 20 years.

The tag line is appropriate, I actually joined the FDP to answer a guy who was having a problem with a band member who was getting drunk at gigs, and was concerned that he may have been drinking a bit too much himself. 25 years a week or so ago, I had to figure it out “o)

I was checking out the FDP because of a new American Standard Tele I had just purchased 1999 or 2000, some time around then. Been hanging around ever since.

In case it’s relevant at all I’m primarily a bassist, generally only pulling out a guitar around a camp fire.

A resent photo, so you don’t call the local constabulary when ya see me “o)

Iâm the one on the right âo)

Bass players are generally is short supply at the Atlanta FDP jams... :) We've been on the FDP for about the same amount of time it appears...
