LOL! I did not know about the SV20C Marshall amp or the others in this line of amps!
I bought one on his recommendation! Wanted the SV20/5H (head only). Got the combo thinking if I don't like it I have a return policy that refunds all funds!

Thanks for the information Bill!

It didn't start out good on my demo when I got it home but, it got a lot better the more I played it. The speaker started breaking in and the notes started blooming!
It reminds me of my 1987X tones.....of course a good bit lower on the volume lol!

Yes! It's a keeper!

That is such a sweet looking amp! And, yes, I knew it would be almost exactly what you were looking for! I expected you to get the head and plug into your 2x12 Marshall cab.....but, you got such a great deal on the combo, I'm sure I would've done the same thing!

Just glad you like it as much as I knew you would!

I know I'm still way behind Leftee in the enabler's camp, but this puts me one step closer! ;)

I’m happy to hand off the baton to Bill.

Or is it a scepter?

Right now, with a new water heater and shower/tub within the past two weeks, $1500 for a new amp wouldn't go over too well.

New Marshall amp vs the above.......Hmmmm.
You don't have any neighbors with a bathroom you can borrow once/day?!

PS. the head version is only $1299....

Congrats on the new amp, Ken. Bill told me you were about to pull the trigger, so hopefully we’ll get to hear your new amp and his at the next Jam.

Bill-You know that's right! lol

guitargeezer-Beside the 2X12 cab, I have some other cabs to check out.
The 10 inch Celestion needs more playing time but hard to believe it sounds this big and full already!

Peegoo-Yes it does lol!

LeftyMeister-There are some (combos) on the used market I read about for 1100$. I didn't go look or want to wait on out of state shipping. I also got a lower price since it was the demo amp.

Leftee-I think you and Bill are in cahoots with each other on this enabler deal haha.

Cool beans, zenland! I’m looking forward to hearing both amps. As long as Bill has been raving about the Mini Jube (and I have come close a couple of times), I’ll be interested in his thoughts on the merits of the others.

If I could own any amp, it would be a Maz 18 in red.

Lefty, that would get you close to the Marshall sound. But, only close! 😉

I would have to agree! Count the people who are in my Marshall thread. These two guys were all over it. I got one and I love it.

Enjoy your amp!
