About as ordinary as you can get.

I have a '63 Bandmaster head that was salvaged from a fire. I think a few things are salvageable. I have already replaced the PT but need to replace the OT. The number on the old OT is 125P7D. What I am finding is that I cannot find a replacement OT with this same number.
I find the 125P5D but not the 7D. Anybody know if the 5D will work as a replacement?
There won't be much original in this amp but I just want to try to get it going once again. I have already built a new head cabinet for the chassis.

Call sponsor AES. They are hugely helpful with this stuff (cross-referencing transformers) and I've always gotten great service from them.

Interesting...

My records from way back show that the power transformer for the AB763 Bandmaster was a 125P7D, and the output transformer was a 125A6A.

It's possible the PT was replaced or the amp modified before it was accidentally cremated :o|

If you're building up a new board, it may be better to go back to the Fender schematic and spec the parts based on that.

Hammond makes a replacement for both Fender spec transformers...
