The Fender Parallel Universe Thinline Deluxe Tele looks super cool and I love the features.

I confess that's its the coolest looking Tele that Fender has put out lately.

Hmmmm . . . .

I like everything but the pickguard. Make one or the other...black or white, not both together.

I need to try one of these out. I know of two stores in the area that have one (including a used one).

These go for around $2,000 new.

I thought the pickguard was silver, until I took a closer look.

Ryder - I know what you mean. The used one is around $1,500.

Very cool firebird6024! That makes total sense too because that's the vibe Fender was looking for with this Tele.

Great idea.

On first look it resembles a Reverend--based on the the colors.

Filtertrons in a Telecaster are a no-brainer; they sound fantastic in the platform. Makes for a really versatile guitar.

Here's my version.

I finally tried out the Parallel Uni Thinline Deluxe and the Parallel Nashville HSS at the same shop.

THE WINNER: I bought the Parallel Uni Thinline. Super fun to play and the TV Jones Filtertron pickups sound really nice.

The Para Uni Nashville has a bit neck heavy and the neck wasn't all that great to play on (for me at least).

Thanks!

There's a YT video were a guy reviews this Tele as the ugliest guitar Fender has ever made. He ends up liking it, but I gave him a thumbs down.

What an absolute dork!

Hmmmm. That orange. Makes me think of something with those Filters... hmmmmmmmmm

GRETSCH!!!

I really, really need a Tele with Filters. That is a match made in heaven, though I don't think I'd need it thinline.
