Have any of you taken a look at this new release announced at the Winter 2019 Namm Show, and if so, what are your thoughts?

I, for one, would be interested in hearing what you have to say.

Here it is!

I like it! It’s about time!

It’s also pretty cool that it’s affordable.

Damn........!

Very cool!

7.25 radius neck ... way cool, still can't make up my mind what I like better 9.5 or 7.25 ( yes even over a compound radius)

I wonder what the pups sound like.

It's cool that you can after a while if you decide to change from top loading the strings to traditional "through the body" you can...

I hear they are going to release the Mirror version too( white and had a silver circle stickers on it) Oh wait... they did where is the circle stickers?

wow, cool also.. different neck profile? pups are different too.
I think that's the one I'm going to find hard to say no on

It's a cool offering but I won't be getting one. Playing it I'd feel like an imposter, which of course I am. :)

I do like the specs considering the price point.

“String top-load-style for a rounder sound with easier bending” , why easier bending with a top-loader ?

Less string tension with a top-loader compared to a string-through configuration.

"...Less string tension with a top-loader compared to a string-through configuration..."

Nope, strings tuned to the same pitch, so tension is the same.

Bending is easier because there is a smaller break angle over the saddles, hence lower friction force to overcome when the bent string renders over the saddle.

It's a nice nod to Jimmy, but I won't be parting with any of my money for one.

I'm just not a signature guy. I guess I'm weird that way. (and lots of other ways too)

About as ordinary as you can get.

I say it will never sound like Jimmy's Tele did. With Jimmy Page, it is in his hands. He could take a cheap Squier that is set up well and make it sound like a dream.

Lots of Signature guitars out there but I doubt I'll ever own one. I play a lot and I have lots of nice guitars but I just don't have that "hands thing" going on.

I'm more tempted by the amp coming out.

Because, well, I've never played a Tele, vintage or modern, that didn't make my left forearm cramp up like I was trying to free climb Everest.
