Been looking for another acoustic for awhile, wanted a used dread 6 string, preferably in rosewood. Tried out some Martins , Taylors, etc. and just didn't find "The One". Finally pulled an older Guild maple 412 off the rack just to see how it sounded. Wow! But I don't want maple, and I already have a nice larrivee 12. Yeah, right. Thought about it for a couple of days and went back yesterday, made an offer for a bit less than the asking price. She followed me home. Completely different sound than the Larry and quite a bit louder. Already have a few sets of strings on order to see what sounds best. I'm a happy guy, but I,m still keeping an eye out for that used 6 string.

Good score GW.

I've never played a Guild 12 string but I've heard great things about them.

Thanks Aynes. Did a search for serial number and it turns out it was built in '76.
