Do you think a vintage Strat Warmoth neck would fit?

(2-3/16"W x 3"L x 5/8"D)

I really wish these specs would be published somewhere, especially by sellers of parted out gits.

Yes it will fit.

If you find the neck fits too tight, stick some 120-grit sandpaper to the side of a little wood block and sand the sides of the neck pocket.

The neck should drop right in with no drag. If you force it into place, you'll probably crack the finish in the treble-side cutaway.

Never sand a neck to make it fit.

You really want a pointy headstock, too.

Well, there goes my budget for all my other projects. I ordered a loaded Player HSH body in "buttercream", plus a brown tort pickguard. Never had a Strat with anything but S-S-S config. This should be fun. My Warmoth neck is a a really fine maple/dark rosewood that needed to be put in action.

Yep. I really was going for a custom build to employ inventory on hand of neck and a variety of pickups, then came across this one. I don't have a solid body dual full size humbucker guitar, so thought why not.

Thumbs up like Fonzie!

I’ve got 2 built like this (but no middle pickup) and I love’em.

Well, the tort pickguard is a no-go. I don't know if it was cut wrong or if the Fender Player HSH series is a unique rout. The humbucker holes are bigger than the stock guard as well, I assume to accommodate buckers with covers(?). Oh well, this is a step child Strat anyway. The Warmoth neck works great. I did have to sand the pocket a wee bit, as well as re-educate myself on 2-pt trems.

pickguard laid in place
