what do you mean the bass is too loud?

this company is pushing their new product, a subwoofer that presses against your back when playing bass, allegedly giving you a full, visceral feel of your bass in your chest.

the unit looks like its a whooping (woofing?) 6 inches long, and I'm not sure if the product is actually in development.

any thoughts? I've got a back vibrator that may have the same output power, but wonder if maybe
this could be for real

for real?

found a 'review' in bass gear mag, doesn't say much of anything.

Wooten's 'review' seems more like a polished commercial than a serious evaluation...

Looks like a solution in search of a problem...

You know how car makers are now adding engine noise thru the car speakers? This seems like that.

I don't need to 'feel' the bass, I need to hear it. And make sure it's at a proper volume onstage.

Sounds like a Butt Kicker for bass players.

The original Butt Kicker is a transducer that takes the sound of the kick drum, changes into mechanical energy, and imparts it into the drummer's stool.

"Chair," I mean. Throne.

I don't want to confuse anyone. HAR! [snort!]
