FDP Forum / Fender Amps: Vintage (before 1985) / SF Pro Reverb with BF circuit

I have SF Pro Reverb, non master volume. the tube chart indicates that its the same circuit as the BF Pro Reverb. Is my amp basically a blackface with a sliverface nameplate?
thank you to all in Fender land!

If your circuit number, on the tube chart, says something like AB763 or similar, I'd say you have a BF circuit. Check the EIA codes on the transformers also.
I have a '69 SFPR and a '65 BFPR. Both are great amps.

Tube charts are often irrelevant. You can't be sure of anything at all simply by looking at the tube chart - the actual circuit needs to be inspected.

Has your amp ever ben serviced? Tube amps need the electrolytic filter and bias capacitors replaced every 15 years or so. If you're not sure it needs to go to a tech asap no matter how it sounds - or how the caps look if they are old. They can fail with no warning and cause power transformer failure - a very expensive repair that also reduces the value.
