I didn't know all that I didn't know about classical guitars. A true breed of their own. When I get some time I'm going to hit some stores to check out a few different brands. I have been busy since Sept working on our church Christmas show last weekend. I used my electric and acoustic in it. I think I would use a nylon from time to time there but mostly will use it at home and that type of thing.
I did have a Godin electric that I sold and of course wish I had it back. It was really nice. I hope in a few months to have my money ready and am more educated on what ever brand that I choose.

I visited GC today and see and played a couple of cordoba's. They sounded good and felt and looked good inside and out. Played another brand or two but non stood out much from the other. But I don't have a keen ear or even good ears as I have hearing aids. I hope to check out another store when I get time to see what they have. Seems stores don't keep a big selection of nylons to choose from. I understand why.

jefe46 mentioned the Canadian guitars. I have a La Patrie Concert which is a solid cedar top and solid mahogany sides. I've been pretty pleased with it but I'm a steel stringer. The only use *I* have for a nylon string guitar is bossa nova (think Jobim).

Well, now there is another good looking potential brand. Some of those look really nice. I will have to do some reading up on them.
How do you guys feel about the laminate vs solid woods? I have read and seems like there are an equal amount of pros and cons.
