I have 3 Strats now. ( all USA) I have always wanted a reverse headstock. I actually bought a MIJ squier with reverse headstock but sold it. Felt cheap. Now I am considering a Mexican Hendrix strat for $900, Not exactly cheap but not $4500 for the custom shop. Any opinions.?

Buy a Warmoth neck.

+1 Pinetree. Maybe get the Warmoth neck with stainless steel frets, and put in on your Strat with the neck that is closest to needing a refret (all other things being equal, of course), which you can switch back if you ever want to sell it. My 2 cents

They're calling it "Ultra Violet."

Seems it should have been "Purple Haze."

I have a white Mexican LH Strat with CS 69s. I really like it. It definitely has a unique tone to it. It came with a rosewood neck but I have an all parts neck with the big headstock and maple cap (no skunk) on it now. It looks like the reverse of the Woodstock Strat.
I even flipped the pups over for a reverse stagger and I think it definitely has a ‘Jimi’ tone to it.

I found a backwards Fender decal on eBay for it too.

I love the look, but I don't like the reverse string tension on Hendrix "Voodoo" style Strats.

I've owned a 90's Voodoo Strat and a 60's Reverse Strat and couldn't warm up to either of them and I'm a super massive Hendrix fan.
