Very interesting. I would further comment as I own one, and like it. However, not sure what a link (if working) would convey regarding a "heavy" neck.

Other than an SG I put on once did this , it feels unbalanced like gravity is pulling the neck down at headstock end...no e of my other guitars do that..;

Get yourself a guitar strap that has an unfinished suede backing. Manyy good leather straps (top grain, etc.) have this.

The suede sticks to your shoulder really well and stops neck dive.

And remember that most guitars have a hendle you can hold that keeps the headstock up :0)

There have been several products made that were designed to act as counterweights, made of tungsten and encapsulated lead. They attached to the butt end of the guitar at the strap button, and the makers claimed they not only prevented neck dive, but added sustain and improved tone.

On the first count of preventing neck dive, they did work. But they also added a pound or more to the mass hanging on your shoulder. Far as improving sustain and tone--that's all BS marketing wank.

Needless to say, these things were a solution looking for a problem and they disappeared from the market pretty fast.
