Yeah baby! Killer! Now go learn some Birds tunes!

Peegoo I wanted one of these for years and the stars never aligned. A guitar would come up locally at a good price and I had no $$ or I had $$ and found no reasonably priced guitars.

I bought a brand new Cozart 12 on ebay for $137.00 a few years back. It's a Strat XII knock off. I put a set of Fender vintage noiseless PUs in it I had laying around, set it up and wow. I love it. The neck is a touch wider than the Fender and that's OK it being a 12er.

Strat 12 KO on the cheap. For as much as I play it, it's perfect.

I had one of those Strat XII's a few years ago. It was Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock. I sold it off thinking I didn't need it (I have a Rick 660-12 and a Gretsch 6122-12 Country Gentleman). I still miss it, though.

I just might have to get one of these new ones as the price is fair and they won't last long. Love that CIJ quality!

+1 on the LPB Strat XII and I held on to mine!
I bought mine new in 2005 and I love the CIJ quality, too! The latest released XII's only come in 3TB or White..
I was hoping to find one in person just for comparison and see what's the difference between CIJ vs MIJ...

It seems like I read somewhere that there are some minor differences between the latest release of XII's and earlier ones but I don't recall what they are. But build quality is still 1st rate.

Had an older MIJ Fender 12 string. Great guitar, but used it for a trade-in during a purchase seeing that I wasn't doing any tunes requiring a 12 string.

If that is the case, there are 12 saddles, all intonatable.

I think he was asking why only 6 ferrules (holes in the back). Because the other 6 strings end in the bridge plate.

I finally got to try one of the latest Strat XII guitars released recently. This one was Olympic White. Nice quality, and played beautifully! About the only difference I could tell from my 2005 Strat XII was the neck. The newest ones feel a little thicker vs my 2005 neck. The Basswood may also contribute to why it felt slightly lighter than my Alder body, but other than that, it had good balance and it has all the quality you'd expect from Japan. Awesome!

The original's headstock was a bit different. Had a hockey stick look to it.

FYI... The nice thing about the previous release and now the latest release of the Strat XII is they both fit any standard Fender Stratocaster case. When I purchased my 2005 Strat XII, I purchased the Fender molded case being sold by Fender at the time..... perfect fit!

A 20-yr. old version in sunburst has appeared for sale not too far from me. MIJ.

I'm sorely tempted....
