Sparkle is great but like mom said too much of a good thing can be bad. Years ago I owned a PJ when they were US since then I owned two other PJ 3's, I'm hear to yell you the 4 is quite a bit brighter even though no one seems to mention that in there reviews of this model?. I know the Jensen P10r is a bright speaker and after giving it time to break in I replaced it with a Warehouse Vet 10 which was an improvement but still a tad bright. I now ordered a Jensen falcon 10 which I'm hoping will be a good mate for this amp and smooth out the top end.
edited for not putting my glasses on when I posted.

Two identical amps, made side by side, often have individual voices.

If the amp is too bright, flip it around and point it at the wall. Cuts the ice-picky treble and really spreads the sound around the room nicely.

Well the Jensen falcon 10 did the trick.
