Replaced the bla white stock pickguard with a red tort pickguard. What a difference $10.44 made

There is a photo showing the white pickguard in my profile

Just getting photos back on after becoming a contributing member again. Have more bass and bass amp photos to put on later when I recover from this round, LOL

This one

That looks like a well spent $10. I love tort guards, especially with red... and burst... and white... and black. You get the picture.

The perfect match for the red. Is that CAR?

Another guard that would look great with that color would be a minty green guard.

Nothing says vintage like a minty with a custom.

And on the old ones, when the shell guard goes to extreme faded marmalade colour it looks outstanding against the red.

Here's a guy with faded marmalade all over the front of his lovely old Precision Bass..
Sadly,Sugar Pie DeSanto's stage performance verges on the embarrassing in my opinion.

George, it is CAR. Has a very good neck for a Fender Standard model. Low action, very stable, no deadspots. Couldn’t be happier with it.

Ooh, Stack that is hidious looking 😂
