Most of the ones I see online or in the music and/or pawn shops are with exposed pickup coils. The fact that this one had silver covers is what caught my eye....

This particular one also has the three way selector switch. Sorta craving a Stratocaster that does the Les Paul thing------aaaannnnnd----it seems this Squier specimen is calling my name. Love the feel of the slim C neck it has too...

The price tag said $250 but I get it at preferred customer price of $175 if I want it----I pretty much have decided at the conclusion of this posting that it will be mine tomorrow.....

The range of instruments I've seen or owned (Fender & otherwise) that come out of Indonesia are very good quality/bang for buck.

I wouldn't hesitate at that price. Like hushnel said, you couldn't build a partocaster for that little amount.

Somebody could have added covers, not that it's a bad thing!

OR it came that way, hard to know on a FSR!
