Ordered a PRS SE Custom (22 + 2) 24 in Whale blue last week, should hopefully ship soon.

and a Gibson Les Paul Double Cut in TV Yellow (2017 model) has finally arrived at the store it's only been 11 months, now they have to apply for cites permission to ship it so could be another month before i get it.

Oh and there's are two projects i will let you in on shortly ;)

Very cool. Tax refund already??? ;^)

I wish I liked the neck profile on the PRS because the Custom 22 is the model that ticks all the other boxes for me. (hardtail, master V & T)

Hope you shopped around and got a good deal. I see the SE prices have really shot up. A few years ago the C22 were sub 800AUD, now I'm seeing them at around 1200.

What LP DC did you get? It looks like there a couple of variants (HB, P90, 2 or 4 control).

I'll keep a look out for those projects you teased about too!

I like the look of that DC!

I think it's the simplicity of it.

Why'd it take a year to get here?

"Why'd it take a year to get here?"

Mick,

well where do i start

The Aussie distributor wasn't interested in bringing them in and no store in oz would even order one esp. lefty.

Tried to get one from the states but Jimmy at southpaw wouldn't give me a price. just said put $200 and I'll order one. couldn't find them elsewhere in stock

a Uk dealer had them on pre order and i at least had a price but no ETA. That was September Last Year.

Don't know what Gibson's time frame on putting them in to production is? And then the Bankruptcy re fiance stuff happens

The retailer pulls the guitars from its website. But are saying when i ask they turn up when they turn up!

Gibson is notorious for offering lefty guitars and then back flipping its happened to me before

So i go if its not here by this Xmas, I'll can the order

To say i wasn't hopeful it would turn up was an understatement.

Well, those two are killer killer guitars: the kind you keep forever and hand off to your heirs. Do a really great setup on 'em and they'll do what you need 'em to.

"Well, those two are killer killer guitars..."

Does that mean they would kill a standard killer guitar???

You're even more patient than I am! Such a hassle to get a left-handed guitar into a first world country! Seems ridiculous!!!
