It might look like I've got too much time on my hands but ... I was trying to track down a track down a harsh little spike in the midrange on my Princeton Reverb II. This is what a spectrum analysis looks like of me playing a clean 3rd fret barred G chord, as consistently as I could on a Mex Strat neck pickup, hile winding down the mid control from 10 to 1. I knew the mid control on a traditional Fender tone stack affects the whole spectrum but I didn't know it did this... (unless there's something wrong with mine!)

More meaningful if you fed some white noise to the input. Plenty of audio samples available on the web.
