First thing...it is easy to play and fun!

And I’m so happy to hear the twang! I like the sounds but still need more playing to hear all of that.

A little heavier than my Tele Deluxe thinline but not to heavy at 7.6 lbs. I chose the sunburst with maple, and it’s gorgeous.

Gotta go play some more...different amp this time.

Pictures or it's just an unsubstantiated internet legend.

That is a fine weight for a Tele!

You better keep that thing in the case when you're not playing it.

It has an all-seeing eye between the bridge and the knobby plate. It may even be connected to the Innernetz.

That's a PEACH! The Baja is perhaps the best Tele Fender is making these days.

"The Baja is perhaps the best Tele Fender is making these days."

Totally agree. Great build, great sound, great playability, great price. What's not to like?

And, yes...that is a good weight.

And..."we told you so!!!" LOL!

You're going to love it, congrats! They're twangy for sure.

I like it a lot, enough that I may get one myself. Enjoy that thing.

I have been so tempted many times between a Baja and a Road Worn.

ejm, that was my problem also. I like the switching the baja has plus the pups sound wonderful. I'm amazed at how the neck plays also.

For me, the Road Worn, or something with the tex-mex pups in it, can come later.

This one is going to church with me tomorrow for a good try out.

The Baja is one of the best Teles that Fender makes in my opinion.

What pickups and switching do they use? They’ve never made lefties. Y’all make me wonder if I should build one.

They use a four position pickup switch--which allows bridge and neck to be used in both parallel and series modes. It also has the S-1 switching built into one of the control knobs.

The pickups are a Fender Broadcaster bridge pup and a Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pup. They sound great.

Or...

I wonder if I might want to put a set of these in my new Nashville build?

From the descriptions I read, these might be mighty nice in that guitar.

I am real happy with mine!

Took it to church today and it did great! Played slide on a couple of songs, it sounded very nice.

I’m already liking it more than my Deluxe thinline.

And the twang is there when you need it!

I’ll say one more thing about this Baja.

I could play all the time with this Broadcaster bridge pup!

Wonderful!
