Got hot last week now down to more reasonable 80s but some muggy days. Should back off to high 70s next week....toes in the sand, good book in hand, under a cool umbrella....mile of ocean in view.

CO2 ... is there anything it can't do?

I just took a walk down to the beach -- not much going on, but I'm inside the Cape so we're insulated from the storm. Tides are high due to the new moon but that's about it.

I'm hearing from fishing buddies that there is some high surf on some of the outer Cape beaches.

Overall, we certainly can't complain about the weather so far this Spring/Summer.

Haven’t been for awhile, maybe worth a ride. I got options too, the Gulf or Atlantic, more traffic to get to the Atlantic. Some of the nicest beaches in Florida though. About an hour, hour and a half either way.

Fantastic. I live about 1000 meters from one of the best beaches in California so I spend a lot of time there. Water is warm and clean. The only problem is the damn tourists aka locust descend on my town every weekend. By 1 PM I have to leave. When I retire (very soon btw...) it won't matter because beach M-F is fantastic. I am off to Maui for a couple of weeks later this year...can't wait!

I am not near a beach, but we do have a very nice man-made salt water lagoon down the road. It just recently opened and Michael Phelps was the VIP to cut the ribbon. It's open to the public for a daily/monthly etc fee.

I took the pic from an overlook using my Samsung cell phone.
