Does fender have default spacing for the three grooves between the saddles. I took off my strings to oil my neck and can't remember what they were originally? Thanks

I think you are talking about the string spacing at the saddles?
A quick look at the pictures of the bass on the Fender website will give you a good idea. But really there is no actual "default" from a players' point of view. The string spacing needs to feel right to your liking and style, and string guage. Also the strings should be spaced to pass correctly between pickup polepieces, within reason.

As shown zoomed in on Body shot each string is appoximately equal distance between two magnets which “should” give you balanced string tone but that also is dependent on the string you use. As USK stated it is a matter of preference.
