All the soldering appears to be original--but no way to really tell from those photographs.

Not all Fenders escaped from the factory with wiring done precisely to Fender's own published schematics.

Sure it's possible.

The published schematic for the Jazzmaster places an .03 cap on the tone pot, so we know Fender had a bin of those caps sitting around.
