I’ve been toying with the idea of a burgundy guitar with cream plastics.

I like the concept, but Daphne Blue is the color for me.

You want something different? Stick a right-handed bridge on that.

It will give you mids-forward, growlier highs from the bridge pickup than you get from a typical Tele.

I’ve got it hung next to a standard Configured Tele and it looks like, between the two of them, they are smiling.

Here's a couple of questions:

1. Do y'all prefer ash or alder for Tele's?

B. How can I determine the body wood of my 10 year-old Mex Tele?

B. Pull the neck off. Reddish wood in the pocket is alder. Whiteish is ash.

1. I like alder

I ran the serial # and it's a 2004-05. According to what I can find, it's alder.

I'm considering this body. It has the pickup routing I need and I can work with the color.

I saw that earlier. Nice body! Great color too.

Edited to add - great price as well.

I think I'll ask for better pics, the body wood, and bridge configuration.
