Not yet!

If it works out, I'm trying to decide on a pickguard. I want something unconventional but not garish; contrasting but not clashing; flashy but not gaudy; unique but not bizarre...

I kinda like this look...

Mist Blue - All Black

I also think mint green would look nice on that. Or parchment or cream.

He’s been selling Fender parts for years on eBay. I don’t know what his communications track record is like.

Question: How would a mount a P90 pickup in a humbucker routing? Would I need to secure it from the pickguard?

It would usually get two screws through the pickup itself. You’d use some stiff foam under it to push the pickup up.

You’ll have to rout that particular space wider too. A P90 is wider than a HB.

Thanks, Eric. I'll need to find someone with a router. I think my BIL has one.

The nice thing is the pickguard covers any routing sins. (-;

I have those lurking under pickguards.

Ha! I have this mental picture...

I'm rethinking about ordering a body from Warmoth and then painting it myself since Myst Blue wouldn't be my first choice. I can get a body made to order for $175.

While messing with some options, this is different:

Cream on Cream

That’s what’s nice about a Warmoth. You can get the exact body you want.
