I’m playing a Tele MIM and I like it. Running through a Blues Junior IV and I’m getting some great tones. But … it would be nice to stick a different PUP in the bridge position. When I use the neck position, I love the sound. The bridge is a bit too twangy for me (yes, I know, it’s a tele). Any thoughts on what I could replace the bridge PUP with for a little more guts? I do like a warm tone, and not too concerned about screeching highs. Don’t know if I’m looking for a humbucker or a different single coil. I play mostly 70’s rock, some blues, and a lot of rhythm stuff. My days of distortion and fuzz are long gone and I’m one of those Tube Screamer disciples. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Looking for a jumping off point for research.

A Seymore Duncan Cool Rails (humbucker) or Duncan Li'l 59 (humbucker) sound great in the Tele bridge position. They are a bit more mids-forward, and you get the added bonus of quieter operation.
The Duncan Hot Rails might be too hot for your tastes, based on how you described your current style and tone preferences.

I'll second the 'lil '59. I played one for years in a Tele.
The other thing I would suggest is use of the tone control backing off just a bit. There are times I really like that bite and can just roll it back on when needed. A lot of '70s rock loves the bite of a Tele bridge.
You might also check to see what PU is in there. Ceramics are much harder on the ears and certainly so if adjusted close to the strings. A nice alnico Tele bridge may be the answer. A ceramic PU will have a magnet bar or bars across the bottom. Something to look at next string change.

"Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials"
+1
I have them in my MIM Tele and love them, best bridge pick up I've found for a Tele.
Just take the time to adjust the height for your preferred tone and balance.
