I always presumed my son and his wife, both 37, would always be DINKs: double income, no kids. Now, the news is that they're expecting twins sometime in October. The ultrasound indicates they're identical but it's too early to determine if they're boys or girls. At that age, she's considered high risk but, God willing, all will be OK. I can hardly wait as my grandson, my daughter's son, is now 16 and I can't read Dr. Seuss to him any more. Guess I'll have to wait to see if I'll be buying baseball gloves and bats or softball gloves and bats, we should know in a month or 2. Wow!

I got a bunch of them.

Grandkids are the best.

Youngest daughter is supposed to drop a grandson in the next week or so.

Good on you, Gramps.i have three grandchildren, myself, two girls & a boy. The girls are twenty something and thirty something. The boy is almost twenty. Got a great granddaughter, too.

Grandkids are great. Enjoy them for as long as you can. Again, congrats and be happy.

Congratulations. I love my 5 grandkids, the oldest just turned 15 and the youngest 7 in 2 months.

Edited an illogical typo.

Congrats -- grandbabies are the best part of being a geezer.

My daughter just brought grand daughter number 4 into the world a week ago today. Happy Birthday little Merith.

My son's two daughters are twins -- not identical, but inseparable. They are a panic.

Enjoy them -- my first three are three years old now -- I can't believe how quickly they have grown.
