Okay, maybe I am too obsessive regarding car cleanliness.
Both parking garages at work leak, resulting in numerous drips. In the winter, the drippage contains salt, from the salting of the roof everytime there is even a dusting of snow.
Everyday, I drive through this waterfall and end up with salt all over the whole car! Rant off.

It may be condensation. "Raining" in parking garages made of pre-stressed concrete decks is a common thing.

Be thankful you still have a parking garage.

They had to tear ours down on account of all that salty water that runs off the parked cars rusted the very rebar in foundation of the entire parking garage.

I had this experience. My building had a concrete underground garage that had the 'sweats'. I was gone for a week and came back to find a glob of hardened concrete embedded into the body of my Benz. When I tried to rub it off I only made things worse. I never could get it off.

I keep reading this thread and keep thinking of the totally annoying expression "First World Problem".

There, I said it. :-)

I used to be an OCD clean-car guy. Then I moved to a house at the end of 1.5 miles of gravel road, and had to get over it.

It wasn't easy.
