Anyone tried either of these new Rumbles?

Anyone bought one of these?

Anyone heard of these?

I still use my B-DEC for minimal carry & minimal stage monitoring when I can line out to FOH. But I got my eye on the Rumble Studio 40 as a replacement, just in case.

Really? No opinions? No interest?

I use Rumble amps and combos all the time, at church and in my work around the region.

I really like the Fender Rumble line of equipment and always recommend players give Rumble a try when they're looking for giggable gear.

Nashville touring and studio monster bassist Michael Rhodes also speaks highly of Rumble.

I have no experience with the particular models you refer to in your headline.

I too am a owner of a Fender Rumble product. For me it's the 500C. I love this amp, but have no experience with the Studio line. I have read great reviews for the Studio 40 on other forums and they are all more than positive. It even piqued my interest in getting one to use as a preamp for mine. But then, I woke up and decided I didn't really need another amp at this time. Dangit! I hate it when common sense gets the better of me. With respect to Chris. I won't name the forum, but I'm sure you can find it.

I played the 800 and it was a nice amp. I have a 500 combo and like it too. I haven't been tempted to switch because I prefer analog gear, but the 800 sounded great and was LOUD.

Thank you, gentlemen.

I, too, am a very satisfied Rumble 500 combo user with no direct experience with the Rumble Studio 40 nor Stage 800.

But I do like modeling Amps, too. My Cyber-Deluxe is still lots fun for me and my listeners, they tell me. I also still enjoy and gig my B-DEC!

I'm very tempted by the Studio 40 as a backup, or replacement, to my B-DEC. I've also thought of the Studio 40 as a master to slave the 500, but I've never tried it with the B-DEC. Hmmmmm . . .

Only one way to find out for sure.

I recently got turned on to these amps. I started out with a 100 combo which I like, though it didn't work for my upright. I also tried the 200 combo with the 15. On this one I didn't feel it cut through the mix enough for my taste. Perhaps I wasn't eq'ing it correctly but probably will try the 500 combo as I heard it at Sam Ash and it sounded more punchy to me.

The Studio series has the emulation circuit, I believe. I don’t really use that technology other than the SansAmp I’ve been using recently.

I have the rumble 40 sitting behind a loung chair in my living room. It’s plugged into a Wemo device I contol with my iPhone and the bass du jour (currently the homemade HomeDepot fretless) and cord lives with in reach. I like this amp, it gets a lot of use, on average an hour or two a day.
