That has happened a couple of times to me. No biggy, I’m usually not in that much of a hurry.

If I understand your post correctly, you are not receiving your Prime Amazon orders as promised. Yes, I have had issues as of late. I also have had some snafu's, like ordering a medicinal cream and receiving coasters for furniture legs.

No glitches here. Sometimes I get my order the next day. I've always gotten the correct merchandise. It is very rare for me to get a delay if it is an Amazon fulfilled item.

In defense of the OP I live and work (my office is my ship to address) about 30 miles from a major fulfillment center in San Bernadino.

I ordered a filter for my fridge and received 10 of them, they just kept coming at two per day. It finally stopped.
I just returned 9 of them.

No Amazon, no FDP. While I have serious concerns about Bezos and what he's doing to retail, I have no complaints about Prime delivery, especially when I consider all the other goodies included in the Prime package (TV, Music, Library, easy no-cost returns).

I regularly place numerous orders through Amazon each month. A few come in a day late now and then, but for the cost of the Prime service and what I get for it, I have no complaints.

Some of the delays may be issues with Amazons setting up their own delivery service in areas now as they work the bugs out... Have noticed while tracking packages, in my area they have started this and I've had a couple come in late... Not a big deal to me. Also something I noticed was they track their delivery vehicles when out for delivery. You log onto Amazon and check your status, instead of a message saying "out for delivery", a map is shown with the location of the vehicle and how many deliveries before yours. I've watched the truck turn onto my street on my computer, walked to the front door and open it as it pulled up.

I ordered K-cups at 8:00AM and they were in my building by 4:30 the same day. How can anyone compete with that? As for the two day delivery, I would imagine that it is still faster than anything else available. I also would bet that if you complained to Amazon about the slow delivery then they would accommodate you in some manner, as they seem to not care about profitability, only market share.
