Years ago there were no options to replace the ugly and crappy bridges on Samick Epiphones. The post to post size most commonly reported for these is 72mm. Now Kluson are advertising a replacement bridge specifically for Samick, but according to wdmusic it's 73mm. According to an ebay seller it's 72mm.

Kluson also now make a neat offset bushing post again advertised as specifically for Samick.

Has anyone actually used either of these on an 80's or 90's (actually into the early 2000's) Samick? If so do you know the post to post size of the guitar they went on?

You can't trust these specs without a set of calipers in your hand.

You might actually be suffering from the same ailment as I do. I'll be searching the internet for a hardware solution with credit card in hand and the project on the bench waiting to sing. The thought of waiting for a few days for the part to arrive only to find that it doesn't fit is just too much for me to bear. I don't want to put myself into prospect of a heartbreaking disappointment when the part arrives. So the project doesn't move forward.

Exactly! I have a friend wanting a Samick Epiphone Sheraton but the possible difficulties in changing the bridge or saddles may rule it out. I had thought that the only way might be to actually buy the guitar and one of the advertised bridges and see if it works. Nothing to lose but time and money.
