It bothers me risking my man card but I need to know.

Black Jeans...IN or OUT?

Cleaning out my closet produced to pair of black Levis that haven't been worn for a few years. And, they fit.

My wife thinks they are IN.

I'm Iffy, and need input.

"What man-card?"

Ut-oh, I thought I still had one.

And yes, I'm using whatever you guys say as my argument if I need it. Now wait, she can't MAKE me wear them......can she?

Black jeans are back in. Levi’s are still out. Which is probably the perfect balance between being fashionable and TOO fashionable. I say go for it.

Do you see similar being worn by the men you associate with in your local community? Of course, if I followed that advice, I'd be wearing cowboy boot cut jeans, ropers, a belt buckle I didn't earn, and the ever present flannel shirt. And to really pull the look together, I be wearing a John Deere or local dairy's logo'd ball cap. It would need to be scruffy and well-used.

Oh, they are definitely in.

Show the below pic to your wife, and let her know your online guitar pals all think you'd look

pretty hawt in them.

I have a pair. Every time I wear them my wife asks me why I got all dressed up.

They are dressier than blue jeans.

Back in my gigging days I wore them often because I liked the look. But I gave up caring about in or out years ago.

Other than for a real fashion victim, neither in nor out. But the brand and cut might be crucial to those in the know. I`d recommend hugely expensive skin tights with several rips across the legs showing tanned flesh. As in Peegoo`s pic. Otherwise Levi`s.

Looks like the woman in your picture has spent a fair amount of time on her knees.

I have a pair of black Levis. I wear them every week, one or two days if I don't get food or mud on them the first day. They are somewhat faded, but uniformly so.

I wear jeans every day. I wear dress pants to church Sunday morning; jeans the rest of the time.

You guys are pretty mean, aren’t you?

My name is not Ken! My name is Earl! (Steve). Hey, Steve Earl.

Off subject, but I’m wearin’ those black jeans.

BTW, I wear jeans everyday also. Sometimes I wear jeans to church!

"Black Jeans" and "Levis" are neither mutually exclusive, nor collectively exhaustive.

You are welcome!

Black Levi's. They are my go to dress up pant. I hate Dockers and dress slacks.

I have a black pair that are maybe 10 years old, faded just right, that I wear to gig in. I have a couple pair of newer ones that I use for dressier occasions.

Wear 'em man!

My every day thing is a pair of 501s. Office or field.
