I thought I had the perfect solution to eliminate the headphone cord from my microcube, a Bluetooth transmitter and wireless headphones. Nope, turns out there is a decent delay in the chain and it's a no go - bummer.

Yeah, I had the same bright idea when I got BT headphones to use for recording. The delay made them totally useless for that. Now I just use them for late-night TV watching.

IR headphones have no latency; the drawback is they’re line-of-sight.

You can get decent radio headphones too (also no latency), but they’re not cheap.

Another option is IEMs. There are a bunch of brands and bundles, but decent IEM gear is not cheap.
