Well, actually it's '66 Bandmaster in a 60's Deluxe Reverb cabinet. Picked it up cheap, but it was pretty rough. I had to recover the cab, but the grill is original. Transformers are all original. Weber was selling a nice Fender 12" speaker on ebay, and offered to put any cone in it. So I had them use a 4 ohm to match the transformer. The rest was just a bunch of internal component rehab, though most of the important stuff, like the blue molded caps are original. I added a grounded AC outlet on the back, as the original one was missing. Also added a Mid control for the Vibrato channel in a hole on the back that was already drilled. She sounds great! The chassis is deeper than a DR, so it goes all the way flush to the back, and I had to fashion a custom back strip.
Well, I tried to post links, but I can't get the pictures from my Google photos to work without needing a password. Trust me, It looks real nice. LOL

404 error on both links....
I built one similar years ago. '65 BM chassis in a custom made 2-10 cab from JD Newell.
It never really rang my bells however. It ended up a sold item.

I did the same with a '66 Bandmaster chassis. I had JD Newell build me a 1x15 combo cab; about the size of a Vibroverb, and ordered a Weber ceramic Blue Dog 15 @ 4 ohms. If I recall correctly, I changed the phase inverter cap to a .005 because I was using the amp in an open back format.

I'm toying with doing that to my BM...what speakers were you using?...mine is currently a head w/2x10 2x8 config and its just too much...
my neighbors hate when I crank it...lol..I was able to score a set of 65 Jensen C10Q's and mine sings, when i just run the 2 10's

I tried several speakers with the combo. C10Q Jensen, P10R Jensen, JBL E110s and a pair of Weber somethings. The JBLs were the best using it as a clean platform. I liked my home built DR sized 2-6L6 1-12 amp better however so it went away.
