Will Brady retire?

He looked old, yes he still played decent, but no way he makes it to 45. I think if he comes back next year he will go the way of Favre. Get hit hard and realize he is not a kid anymore.

If he’s smart he will.

Get a job with ESPN and get fat.

Why not?

Played decent??? He came within one possession of sending the Super Bowl to OT, and set the all-time record for passing yards. If that’s what “too old” looks like, we have very different concepts.

Every team in the league wishes they had a guy that could do what Brady did last night, even the team that won.

His passes earlier in the game were missing the mark. Maybe time to pull the pin. Gronk too. Still young enough but he’s had his bell rung too many times.

Walk off the stage; leave them wanting more. Or, do what Brett did.

I saw quite a few wobbly passes, he obviously cannot run like he used to.... Yes I stand by it, he looks old. Still played a decent game, but he was helped by the eagles defense not hitting him. Had they sacked him a few times or knocked him down several times his numbers would not be close to what they are.

He should retire before he turns into a cartoon, like Favre

I haven't watched much of Brady over the years (or the NFL for that matter). But from what I have seen there seems to be something enigmatic about the guy. There are times when he shrugs off a defender that it almost looks Hollywood and incredulous. He can throw some incredible rockets and find the opportunities. Not yer average QB, that guy.

But I'm glad the Eagles won because of a family connection to Jason Kelce.

I hope he retires. I'm tired of him and his media show.
Same for Tiger.

I can't see him retiring, and I can't see him going anywhere else other than the Patriots.

Had the team pulled it out in the end, which was entirely possible, he would have been the MVP of the Super Bowl in addition to his passing record. If that's "getting old", we should all be so lucky.

He should have done it last year. Now he's waited too long.

He's promoting a "Tom Brady defies time" marketing thing, but is really just trying to compensate for the reality of being banged around for the last 35 years. And he never addresses the problem of brain injuries, which can't be massaged away or treated with a vegan diet.

Like Brett he is a big kid. He thinks he can defy aging. The real difference is Bellichick and the NE origination like Brady. McCarthy and above didn't like Favre. All that retirement crap was management getting into his head.

If he wants to return I'm sure they will let him.

Like I said above, he will get his bell rung and realize father time stands still for no one.

Jerry Rice, probably the best conditioned NFL player ever, was done at 40, but held on till 42.

"but he was helped by the eagles defense not hitting him."

OK -- if the Pat's defense had attended the game, Foles would still be a backup QB today. He should share his first signing bonus check with them.

Brady was pressured the whole game and he still put up record numbers. Foles had all the time in the world and he took advantage of that -- he did a great job.

The Pat's O line did a good job for the most part, but they collapsed at a critical time and allowed the turnover. Without that play, Brady would likely have walked down the field and iced the game.

Brady isn't going anywhere -- he was still the best player on the field last night.

But Philly was the better team. They capitalized on NEs weaknesses and mistakes, Foles played way above his pay grade, and they didn't give up after the Pats staged their inevitable comeback to take the lead.

They deserve the trophy.

Some of the Philly fans don't deserve the Eagles.

Oh -- and Doug Pederson was the better coach on the field last night. I have a new respect for that guy.

Brady will be back. He's probably thinking he can't wait to start the next season. He'll replay the game fixing mistakes including that pass he should have caught.....
