Aww, man. Sorry to hear that. It's something we're never prepared for. He'll live on in your memories of him and the man he made you to be.

Mine passed away last year at 87. Cranky and full of spit at the end; he missed his independence. I miss him and would give anything to take him fishing on the new boat he didn't get to see.

Dave, so sorry for your loss. He was irreplaceable and no doubt strong and wonderful, and will never be forgotten. You wrote:
