Hi everybody
I have a Tele with Bigsby. I also have a Gretsch 6120 with Bigsby.
The problem is that the spring that comes with Bigsby, and also all the ones that I have found in sparepart companys like Goldo etc, are too hard for Teles if you compare to the way they work on a Gretsch. Those springs all work fine on the Gretsch.
It's quite easy to tell why if you just look at the construction of the two guitars (Gretsch bridge being much taller than the Tele) but does anybody know of a spring that make the Tele as soft as the Gretsch.
I like my Bigsbys to be pretty much be flat and not pointing much upwards which of course doesn't help but still it could be solved by a softer spring.

All the best
Henrik Krogh
