Not bad, but the rectangular block inlays just don't work aesthetically, IMO. Maybe diamonds or triangles would fit better with the very angular motif.

I think it's even closer to the Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird/Thunderbird (link).

But it doesn't come across as a copycat guitar, IMO, it's got its own look.

Ehhhh, I'm not sure about that one.

I think I like the older Offset Tele more. At least it had the Tele headstock, and I prefer the dots over the block inlays too.

Actually, I prefer my recent Strato Tele Hybrid I just put together :^)

For those not familiar with the "old" offset tele, see link.

To me, that one is just Tele hardware in a Jaguar body, so a design that's what, about 50 years old?

The new one looks, well...new. But I still don't like the block inlays.

The CS has issued a bunch of those Tele-motor-in-a-Jazzmaster-body things. They called them a Telemaster.

I’ve often though about an offset body Tele build. Years ago I had a Malden Mozak, which did that fairly well.

That's actually a great guitar for someone who loves the simplicity of the Telecaster but doesn't want to look like they play guitar in a gyuk-gyuk hillbilly band.

"...doesn't want to look like they play guitar in a gyuk-gyuk hillbilly band."
