Since I just bought another Taylor I needed to order another hygrometer for the case. I was cruising Amazon through the FDP link and ordered a Ambient Weather WS-3000-X5 wireless Thermo-Hygrometer. The X5 model comes with 5 wireless transmitters that you can put in a guitar case and monitor temp and humidity via the remote console also included.
The included user manual is quite good if you need to change any settings however the unit is pretty much plug and play with only a time zone needed to be set for the wireless clock if you wish. Put 2 AA batteries in each remote sensor, plug in the control console to the included wall wart and you are up and running.
This console will handle up to eight remote sensors, another $15 each if I need more than 5. It can be purchased with one, three or five sensors included with the console.
Now I can monitor my acoustic guitars without having to open cases. The unit has a settable alarm that I haven't set up yet to let you know that you have forgotten to fill your case humidifier! I may not use it as I'm sure it will go off at 2 am!
I can't wait to get home from the office and stick these sensors in my cases.

That is pretty cool!
I may order this technology because it looks small enough to fit in my Dependz.

LMFAO! You need a rain guage not a hygrometer!
They are working great Gino. I dropped off a guitar at Taylor yesterday due to an Expression System failure and the tech was very interested in the system while I was unloading my goodies from the case. He wrote down the brand and model. I would imagine he will show it to the "Bob".
I think the Taylor Sense unit is pretty cool but it has a tendency to give false impact alerts and only works with iOS.
I plan to order another three remote sensors from Amazon today. My acoustic family keeps growing of late.
