I have always wanted a blonde 335 , but could never justify the price. Apparently Chicago Music Exchange had killer deals on these and i couldnt fight it anymore so now I have 2 . I love it . It has a thicker neck BB1 and 2 pickups and just love the versatility of the 335 . I am still a strat guy but damn.

Nice pair!
Do they sound at all different from one another?

I feel your pain, and can help relieve your torment of having two 335s. I can't, however, help you get rid of Marv Lewis.

Seriously, nice pair of 335s!

Woody , yes they do. The blonde is a bit brighter due to the titanium saddles and have a bit more of an airy sound than the cherry one. The cherry can get some les paulish tones and are a bit hotter and darker to my ears. Both have great sustain . The neck on the cherry is a slim taper, but has a decent amount of beef to it, the blonde is a "rounded C " and feels fuller to me , but not huge .

My only beef with the blonde one is with the amber knobs my old eyes can’t see the numbers. Thinking about putting top hats on , but they don’t make amber ones with reflectors. I might have settle for either black or gold.

When I have a similar guitar, functionally, why does that iconic shape still call to me? I'm so shallow (Sigh)

Thanks for the tip on the top hats. I actually have black reflector top hats on my cherry one because

1) they are easier to see the numbers and
2) they are easier to grab on to.

I found some genuine Gibsons that were black with gold reflectors , so that should look nice.
