Would an optocoupler have to "warm up" before the vibrato effect will function? My DUAL Showman often takes 10-15 minutes of being on before the Vibrato works. You can hear the clicking but no Vibrato until about 10 minutes then all is well...Intensity is a tad weak though.
Update: I just turned on the amp and the Vibrato is working...if this issue were a faulty resistor, capacitor etc, wouldn't the component either work or not work and not be faulty intermittently?

Update...after 55 minutes the Vibrato is starting to grow weak

Thanks,

MG

I would try replacing the tremolo tube first. It may be a cap in the circuit as well.

After all is said and done you may have a failed/failing trem bug. ie: The lights are on but no one is hope in the resistor department.
