Mike, I went to Reverb and checked out the lefties. Now I'm mad at you.

I signed on the Reverb for the first time earlier this week.

I *love* a butterscotch Tele! I'm surprised I've never owned one. Hmmm... ;o)

We had a funny conversation over breakfast that is pertinent to this thread.

The ladies were wondering if I should be capped on guitars. The number that was floated was 20.

I'm 2 away! :-P

I'm thinking the next one up on the scope is a hollow-body. Probably an Ibanez. I *really* like the semi-hollow Ibanez I have.

I've never owned a full hollowbody. I wish I would've bought a Joe Pass back in the day.

I played one of those years ago. Yeah, it’s one to watch for.

I really like the current Ibanez offerings. And I’ve never been dissappointed by one.

A Gretsch isn’t out of the question, tho. But under a grand for sure.

I have a feeling this is where my new Reverb account will come in handy.

Currently, I have:
6 Strats
2 Tele's
1 Les Paul STD
1 Carvin DC135
1 Yamaha BB300L Bass
1 Ovation Celebrity Deluxe
1 Yamaha FG420L

Got my latest (94 American STD Strat a couple of weeks ago off of Reverb, right after signing up. Go figure.

Reverb is really nice. In some ways better than the eBay of old.

Agreed. *Most* of the stuff on Reverb is being sold by someone who knows something about guitars. Unlike e-bay, or - the worst - craigslist, where there is all kinds of junk floated at ridiculous prices. Mostly a waste of time to look there.

On the Greensboro, NC CL there has been a pair of lefty black Strats listed for years now. One MIM and one MIJ. He bumps them to the top periodically. They are overpriced.

I bet 3 or 4 years now.

I built this one about a decade ago but I sold it because I kept turning the volume down. ;oD

I actually got my black Strat on CL. I traded off an amp I bought that was a turd. I took a beating, but I couldn’t sell the thing.

Sometimes you take a licking and move on.

You couldn’t give me a PRS amp. Yep!

The picture doesn't do it justice. The pearloid doesn't show well in the image.
