Saw the best show of the year last night.

The Blasters, Junior Brown, and Reverend Horton Heat featuring Big Sandy.

$40, unbelievably good seats, great sound, and while I was there for the headliner, I enjoyed Junior Brown a LOT more that I expected to.

What was your high point of this year?

Very cool.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Junior several times, and he can rock as hard as he can country.

Saw JB in Austin a few years back. Can you say "loud"? Yeah, I knew you could. Glad you enjoyed the show, Mr. Tree. I haven't see the Rev yet but I dig him.

Great lineup of players there, did not know that The Blasters were still going.

Sounds like a great show!

I haven't seen any of those bands live, but I'm a fan across the board.

Nice shot of The Rev.

I didn't seen a whole lot of shows this year, but easily the best was Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit.

Sounds like an awesome show. It is amazing how much talent can be seen for reasonable prices in small venues with good sound systems. The performers for sure are busting their humps going from gig to gig earning every dollar.

Live music is best!

Additionally, balcony seating is nice because when you look at the audience, you don't just see the backs of their heads... If you know what I'm saying.

And I think you do.
