Seems to rank low in most reviews, but I thought I would check here.

I don't own one but I test drove one last year. Smooth ride, very quiet inside, loads of power, but poor rear visibility and lousy mileage. I haven't seen any bad reviews, I think it's hard to go wrong with an Audi if you're willing to pay the price.

Thanks Te 52! That was our thought.

In a couple of website rankings it shows up dead last in its class,
but we liked it. I had owned an Audi previously, but now the overall brand is ranking very high in reliability.

I was surprised that the warranty is only four years, with no longer drivetrain coverage. The Japanese cars I have owned recently had 4 year overall and 6 year drivetrain.

A work associate owned one and weekly I'd spend six hours in a round trip to a sister plant. I'm a big guy (265 lbs+) and I found his car stiff and cramped. In those days I was driving a Yukon XL Denali that I thought was a very comfortable ride. I don't know if that answers any questions for you, but it is my comparison.

Thanks all. BTW, the version we are looking at is the Sport.
Has 19” wheels. Kind of low profile tires. Happens to be white,
which is the color we wanted. The tires seem ridicuous for an SUV.....although it is a crossover.

I am 5’10” 145 , and the back seat was comfy.

It's basically a worse handling Golf, but I guess that's OK.

Any comments on the 19" wheels with low profile tires on this Sport version? I assume they are all weather, but not stated explicitly.

Low profile = zippier handling in turns but harsher ride over bumps etc.

19" = more $$ when it comes time to replace them and less choice.

Great looking car, atrocious mpg, I wish they made a hybrid.

Any comments on the 19" wheels with low profile tires......

What about potholes, tire and wheel damage? Side wall bubbles, etc.
More frequent with the low profile tires, right? Seems strange on a crossover, but maybe not.

While I don't have a Q3, I'm a very happy camper with my '14 Q5.

"...Any comments on the 19" wheels with low profile tires?..."

I HATE the modern trend towards low-profile tires. It's a styling gimmick yielding a tiny improvement in cornering at the expense of everything else.

They make no sense on a car of this kind, with brakes of that size.

If the tires are all-weather (or, as they should be called, no-weather) it makes even less sense as it's clearly not going to be used for rough cornering.
