That is a killer deal for a great guitar. Made in the USA too. Great score.

"I'd get the 6 lb 3 oz one."
Mine is no longer shown after I purchased it. I chose a 6lb 6 oz model because the rosewood fretboard was nicer looking. Hoping it will be a keeper. I have ordered a Fender Jazz Bass from them before and it was very nice out of the box which surprised me. I usually have to do a setup but not with that bass. It is a pleasure to play so we'll see.

That is a great deal. The finish looks like my Les Paul Special doublecut faded. I like that unfilled, satin look.

What's amazing about the 4 of those guitars they have in stock is how similar the relicing is on each one of them. Pretty much carbon copies.

Noticed that too stratcowboy. I wondered if it might be a film applied to the top or if it is indeed relicing it is accurately the same possibly done by a computerized machine or whatever

I've had this for about 3 weeks now and love it! Cheaper version of the John Scofield model.

I received my Ibanez AMV100FMD ARTSTAR and really like the feel and asthetics. I had to repair the switch. Not too sure about the pickups yet. I love the smaller size and acoustic sound. I will try it at the gig this weekend.

Gawkdawg, what was wrong with the switch?

They had put a styrofoam block around the switch so it stayed in the middle position. When it was placed in the case and the top was closed it seperated the mechanical part of the switch and when it did that , the mechanical compomenets fell out into the body of the guitar. I thought about sending it back but I have a defect built into me that thinks I can fix anything. So I took the switch out of the body and used a magnet to collect the parts. a little bit of examination and trial and error and I managed to get the switch back together. It works perfectly. I tried the guitar with my SCXD and wasn't very impressed with how it sounded. Which is odd because it seems like every guitar sounds pretty good through my SCXD. But I gig with a Mustang III v2 and pulled that out and set up my standard patches that I use for gigging. A Fender clean, I seem to end up with the 57 Twin, another clean Vox patch, a Marshall patch, a couple patches just to cover some of the songs we play, and an acoustic simulation with the studio amp. I was amazed how good the Ibanez sounded. I used it at our gig last night and am really happy with the guitar. I love the semi hollow body and the pickups are very nice. Tone controls are very responsive. I can crank them up and get a close to single coil treble bite and roll it back a little to smooth things out. Neck pickup is pure jazz.

Wow, glad you were able to get that switch back together and that it worked well during your gig.
