I *should* have received mine today, but the seller didn't notify me that a signature was required. So now it's back at the post office again, and since I travel every week, that means the absolute earliest I'll be able to try mine out is next Friday evening.

Thanks again USPS!!!

Ugh! That stinks!

Hey! A fellow traveler!

I didn’t get to try mine yet. It’s my wife’s craziest week of the year with orchestra. I play a supporting role around the house. Not to mention I was on the road this past week.

"Hey! A fellow traveler!

Yes, Mon-Fri for me, usually home on weekends.

How can you stand having that pedal and not being able to try it? lol
It's driving me nuts, I don't know why but I'm more excited to try this pedal, than anything I've ordered in a long time! Just looks like it'll be a blast to play around with, and to learn it. My wife will pick it up at the post office on Monday, but that does me no good, really! :(

Mine is still in the box, to be wrapped and opened Christmas morning. Looking forward to having something to play with that day!

I’ve learned (the hard way) how to delay gratification.

See how I took a bad thing and made it seem good? :-P

Q for Trio+ users:
-How much loop time do you get? (Can't seem to find this answer in the online specs)
-Is it usable as just a looper if you only need that functionality?

From the manual:
The maximum recordable loop time is 230 seconds per song part — this is based on a minimum 50
BPM and 48 bars per part.

Yes it is usable as just a looper, with unlimited overdubs!

I just got the trio as I've always liked tinkering with this type of gear. Sp far it's not been what I expected but then again I've not hit the manual very hard.
To me the knobs feel kind of weak and detents are pretty vague feeling. When I tried plugging in the headphone jack I pushed the input jack off the circuit board. So I got to solder it back on right off the bat.....solder joints were pretty light on solder almost like they really weren't very strong or well soldered in the first place.
The styles aren't exactly what I expected. They are in there ok just not under the styles you expect but it's a learning curve.

You need to update the unit right off the bat from digitech support to access the latest features like simpler bass patterns or it gets pretty elaborate with the bass. The drums are solid but when it does fills it never uses the crash cymbal or maybe that sound is left off intentionally .

Don't get me wrong there are some great lines ,beats in the box but not as controllable as I expected.
The only real gripe I have is with the feel of the knobs and the rather light solder connections.
The overall sound is adequate for a practice tool . I wouldn't care to try using it live.
It's early days. I may like it better after a bit of time. The general impression is its easy to use without driving you nuts programming. The foot switch for this would be an absolute good idea just to reset the loop etc.

I see tools like this not so much for music production, but more like a sketch pad to work out chord structures and arrangements.

Grey Goose, the accompaniments are to complex. I play a clean 3 chord pattern and it comes back with a drummer that wants to piss me off, the bass player is playing notes he should not be.

I know I probably need to read more about it but I got idea... Just too much going on for me to play with.

Peegoo is right it'll definitely be good for chord structure and may even give you some ideas on bass lines or beats. If you download the upgrade ...firmware and install it you can dumb that bass player down to basics just by setting it that way. Before I did that I was ready to chuck the whole thing in the trash as a failed experiment.
