I'm a bit sick over this. I fupped duck.

I put together another Tele last weekend for my personal use. While mounting the pickguard I became distracted by the dogs and dropped my screwdriver! Dang! Totally my fault. It landed on the neck point down just behind the 21st fret about B string position an took out a chip of finish. A little circle about 5/32" in diameter.

The neck is a brand new genuine Fender MIM 50s reissue with vintage tint lacquer finish.

Is it possible to tint CA glue for a drop fill? Should another product be used?

If it's lacquer then super glue isn't what you wanna use as it'll muck up the surrounding finish.

Drop fill repairs for lacquer chip-outs are a snap. I'd have to send out for a repair like yours though as my color blindness would likely betray me when attempting a color match.

I thought I was the only one who ever did such a thing ... brand new warmoth vintage modern with vintage gloss finish ... about the same damn location. No hidin' that one.

Phil Jacoby got it hidden for me when I sent him the guitar for a fret level after the build.

These days I keep a pile of clean rags on or near my bench and cover the guitar with them almost no matter what I'm doing to it...
