I’m feeling increasingly uneasy about that other thread still being here....

Thanks for updating us Chris. I sure would appreciate knowing if our friend is OK. I hesitate to try to reach him outside the Forum, privacy and all. All we can do is hope.

Hope this turns out ok for tele. I'm trying to stay positive as being charged with shoplifting a $45 knife would not seem to be a thing where you show up in court, are convicted (if that happens) and thrown in jail in a matter of hours. Hope he's simply busy working on that flip.

Hard to imagine time for that offense even if convicted, but I do know my best friend once got put in the county lock-up for 3 days for a 15 mph over speeding ticket.

Judge/court made a mistake (mixed up the dockets or something) and bam, three days in jail. They ended up admitting it was a clerical error and forgoing the probation/communityservice that was part of the original sentence but he still spent 3 days sleeping next to meth-heads taking dumps in a bucket.

Thanks, Chris. I was also wondering if, and hoping that, someone might have heard from him.

Yeah, odd that there's no reply by now. Makes me wonder if he withheld some of the facts in the case.

On a serious note, I really hope he's doing well.

On a lighter note, maybe he told his wife and then begged the judge to be held without bail!

We're thinking about you, tele.

It’s odd for sure. I’m not familiar enough with him to know what his usual FDP habits are, but I can’t help but think his absence can’t be related. Unless, of course, there’s more to the story.

In any event, thanks for the update Chris. I was gonna ask if you’d heard from him.

He was rightfully stressed and I'm more concerned with his health than his legal status. Even in his state as tough as the laws are, at his age and with his of a criminal last I would bet the very worst he was/is facing is probation and restitution. Hence, my worries about his health.

I'm not happy about this situation for several reasons but don't want to stir the pot. I know the folks here all tried to help, so I'll just tip my cap in solidarity.

If plead, misdemeanor is take away same day for that level of offense typically.

“If plead, misdemeanor is take away same day for that level of offense typically.“

Correct, it’s next to impossible he is locked up. But solid bodily waste happens.

Thanks for the update, Chris.

There is only one person who knows the real story line here, and that person is MIA for the time being. Best wishes for a positive outcome.
